Mission
Volunteer branch with independent website (mnd-notts.org.uk) covering Nottinghamshire. Runs two territorial support groups including the long-running Mapperley Plains Social Club monthly meeting. Works closely with healthcare professionals from the MND Care Centre at Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) Nottingham. Current Chair has been involved since 1986 after his mother's MND diagnosis. Produced 6-minute awareness video in 2016 for MNDA Awareness Month. Active sister-branch relationships with Leicestershire and Rutland, Derbyshire, and Lincolnshire branches.
